Turnaround for independent schools.

The school keeps its name, owner, culture and legal status. Paideia adds a quality mark, process system, software access, mentor standard and personal strategic guidance.

Paideia in four statements

Paideia is the development layer for a school, not the school itself.

  • Quality mark: a standard, language and quality signal behind an independent school
  • Turnaround: required operations, roles, parent trust, team rhythm, admissions and funding are stabilised first
  • Software: forms, mentor dashboard, learning plans, progress, portfolios and the quality log grow into one platform
  • Reference case: Freie Schule Salzburg is the first real application; Paideia remains a general offer for schools

The offer to schools

Paideia enters where good independent schools often fail: not at the ideal, but at roles, operations, explainability, quality assurance, admissions, funding and team rhythm.

  • Turnaround diagnosis: identify whether leadership, people, space, finances, trust, admissions, communication or quality creates the real risk
  • Operating model and waterfall: people, space, administration, insurance, IT, materials and the minimum reserve come before development and the Paideia fee
  • Mentor and team development: build teachers as Paideia mentors for one-to-one conversations, project guidance, feedback, conflict, documentation and parent communication
  • Educational core: translate growth relationships, meaningful creation, Mastery Learning, Flipped Classroom, projects and future capabilities into daily practice

Six operating steps

Required operations come first, then quality, then growth.

  • 01 · Diagnose what is actually unstable: leadership, finance, parent trust, admissions, team, space, offer or communication
  • 02 · Secure required operations: people, space, administration, insurance, official obligations and minimum reserve
  • 03 · Clarify roles and team: leadership, board, mentors, deputies, admissions and parent communication receive explicit ownership
  • 04 · Introduce the Paideia core: mentor roles, learning architecture, opening and closing rituals, Mastery Checks and project guidance
  • 05 · Connect software: forms, progress, learning plans, preparation, portfolios and process manuals are digitised in stages
  • 06 · Grow responsibly: only increase information evenings, admissions, visibility and scale when operations and quality can carry them

Offer logic v4.1

The current first-reference draft is not a fixed price for every school. It shows the governing principle: the school must not be hollowed out while Paideia is being built.

  • Required operations first: local staff, space, insurance, materials, administration, legal obligations, IT, website, minimum reserve and urgent investments
  • Paideia fee: approximately ten per cent of current net income per child; at school fees of €410-450, the reference is €41-45 net per child
  • Six-month delivery guarantee: documented processes, software and platform in use, mentor training started and visibility through Paideia
  • Term and licence: two-year minimum term; after the partnership, the school’s own data and core processes remain exportable, while software and the quality mark can continue at a reference of approximately €15 per child
  • Later reduced licence: platform and Paideia quality may be agreed separately; the first draft uses one quarter of the original fee as a reference

Paideia software

The platform makes school quality visible and manageable. It does not replace relationships; it prevents essential information from disappearing into chats, intuition and individual heads.

  • Admission, information-evening and parent forms with review status
  • Student profiles, age levels, mentor assignment, learning plans and daily commitments
  • Mentor dashboard for one-to-one appointments, observations, conflicts and next steps
  • Flipped Classroom logic for videos, preparation, evidence and Mastery Checks
  • Portfolio and project trails for real work, exhibitions, reflection and feedback
  • Process manual for admissions, parent questions, team rhythm, offboarding and quality
  • Quality log for decisions, risks, measures, guarantee points and reviews

When Paideia fits

Paideia is for schools that want truth and growth at the same time.

  • Parent questions dominate daily work: build an answer architecture for rules, ownership, timing and documented objections
  • Education is strong but operations are fragile: separate required operations, development, quality and growth
  • A new leadership team is approaching: define roles, search profile, mentor logic, onboarding, team rhythm and decisions
  • Future capabilities should become real: connect reading, writing, mathematics, projects, AI, reflection and responsibility in repeatable practice

First reference · Freie Schule Salzburg

Freie Schule Salzburg remains Freie Schule Salzburg. Verein Kreativwerkstatt remains its owner. Paideia is the quality, development and platform layer being tested, documented and improved there first.
