The platform is hosted by Vercel Inc. in the United States. When you access the site, Vercel processes technically necessary connection data, such as IP address, browser type and access time, in server logs. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and stable operation under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Transfers to the United States rely on EU standard contractual clauses. We do not use analytics tools or tracking cookies.
You may sign in with a Google account or an email link when registering for a Deep Dive. We use Firebase Authentication, provided by Google Ireland Ltd. For registration, we store the name, email address, selected attendance mode, an optional WhatsApp number, and the names and email addresses of additional guests in Firebase Firestore. The legal basis is performance of the event service you request under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
We send confirmation and reminder emails containing event access information under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. These messages are event communication, not advertising or a newsletter.
Comments, feedback and topic suggestions submitted on the platform are stored with the associated account where applicable. Account and registration data remain stored while the account exists and can be deleted on request by email.
For an AI Automation Day place request, we store your name, email address, optional company and optional description of a recurring process in Firebase Firestore. We process these details to review the request, organise the event and reply to you personally. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
When a new request is submitted, ZukunftBilden receives an internal admin notification through Emailit. Emailit processes the form details to deliver this message. Registration does not trigger an automatic place confirmation or payment.
Do not enter confidential company, customer, access or other sensitive data in the optional process field.
Recordings may be embedded through YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain, youtube-nocookie.com. When you play a video, Google processes connection data under its own privacy information. According to Google, no personal cookies are set before playback in privacy-enhanced mode.
The image generator requires you to provide your own OpenAI API key. The key is sent to the Deep Dive server for the individual request, passed to OpenAI and not stored by our server. If you actively select ‘Remember this key’, the browser stores it locally on your device until you remove it or clear local storage. Image prompts and generated results are processed by OpenAI under the terms and privacy information that apply to your OpenAI API account.
Links to the WhatsApp group, Google Calendar, Google Meet, the ZukunftBilden community and external tools or articles open the respective third-party service. Its privacy policy applies when you actively follow the link.
You have the rights of access under Art. 15, rectification under Art. 16, erasure under Art. 17, restriction under Art. 18, data portability under Art. 20 and objection under Art. 21 GDPR. Send an informal request to kurse@zukunftbilden.eu. You may also lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority at dsb.gv.at.
